More people are making and taking packed lunches to work in these credit crunch times.
Sales in bread have rose 0.5 per cent in the past 12 months and supermarkets have reported
that white bread have grown considerably. All your favourite sandwich fillers have also rose which includes such things as tuna, sweetcorn, mayonnaise etc. Thermos mugs and sandwich bags are also on the increase. You can save a huge amount of money if you make your own and 9 out of 10 times the sandwiches will be healthier. So the credit crunch is making people less lazy and healthy and helping the bread industry - however, the down side is that some chains like Starbucks have been hit - well its all about swings and roundabouts loses and winners, and this time its also something about being fresh - fresh bread ,roll on the the good times!
